Resistance pilot mission crashing [SOLVED]

Every time i launch the resistance pilot's mission on d'qar, the one by the falcon, sometimes the game crashes as soon as it hits the part where you jump to the planet, and sometimes crashes on the way back but i can never finish it due to it always being one of the two, any ideas?

EDIT: As N4P4LM below suggested, turning on VSYNC did fix my issue and i was able to continue and finish the mission.

I got past these crashes by Alt-Tab'ing out of the game before the 'jump' scene, waiting a few minutes, then re-entering the game from the minimized tab.

It's still closing even when i alt tab =( haven't had any success with that although it seems as if playing as the wookie has gotten me to the 2nd jump scene consistently

Have the same problem its my last brick then i am at 100% and get the last achivement, so i will try the Alt-tabing

yeah i tried everything over 100 attempts sadly, the wookie would get me to the mission but i could not finish it due to crashing on the 2nd jump even with alt tabbing, all graphics low, and in each of the screen settings

Just a thought... have you tried disabling all Extras aswell as the reduced graphics settings. I know at least one glitch that was affected by having those on.
Worth a try.

Yup, tried that and left them all off and it wasnt working for me still

Do you have Vsync on or off. With older LEGO titles that crashed, I activated Vsync and they did not crash anymore.

change to dx 9 and turn on v-sync worked for me
