-The aragami to go after and give you a breather
-Resurrect you in case you die and healers will heal you
-Over Charge you with Aragami bullets
Both games are fully beatable solo, in fact there are missions where you cannot bring anyone with you
But only the host makes progress on the story, the other players need to host their own storys ; also there shouldnt be restricction for early on players joining end game and the other way around.
Equipment is rank locked anyways, so even if you do get good mats from a friend carrying you, you would not be able to use it.
tl;dr story mode can be played co-op
For what I read, Im pretty sure people just remember their experience when playing God Eater Burst back on the day on PSP. At least thats what I did.
Fair enough, I am sure most people here had the intention of helping, however OP was probably referring to RES/GE2/RB.
In the JP versions, the 3 games had multiplayer support throughout the whole campaign so you will be able to use the same save throughout your singleplayer/multiplayer playthrough as stated before in my previous comment. Hope this helps out anyone reading.
