Will this work on my laptop?
I'm completely new to the god eater and considering buying the pc version. The problem is that the graphics card I have which is a intergrated intel hd 4000 graphics card which min. for this game dosen't say whether they support it or not. But here are my specs:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30GHz

Manufacturer: Intel

Speed: 2.3 GHz

Number of Cores: 8

Video Card: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000

Manufacturer: Intel

Chipset: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 (intergrated)

Dedicated Memory: 64 MB

Total Memory: 1.7 GB

Memory: 8.1 GB

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit

Service Pack: 1

Size: 64 Bit

Edition: Home Premium

Display: (other resolutions: 1024 x 768 and 800 x 600) Maximum Resolution 1600 x 900

DirectX*Version: 11.0

(Note: drop in framate dosen't matter much to me as long its playable and considering this is more a third person I don't think it makes a difference.)

No discrete graphic? Considering they put NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 1GB / AMD Radeon HD 6670 as minimum i don't know if it's playable or not, but your graphic card is too low for this game.

No. Probably run at around 5 to 10 fps, slideshow and unplayable.

you can give it a try since the game is based on a psp game after all... but i doubt i will perform well on that integrated graphics unit. if dont run well you can always get your refund.

i think on low settings you might get around 30 fps, with some drops to 15, cause the card is flexible depending on the optimization of the game, but only for low settings on recent games, you would probably need to set the in-game resolution to 1280x720, this is my guess after using an hd 4000 since a little after it released

Thanks for the responses and the suggestions. As for the reason why I ask this is in spite of the requirements because I currently have the game lost planet: extreme conditions and the only problems I experience excluding frame rate drop is overheating which I use a cheap fan to keep it cool and fast battery drainage other than that I'm able to play it without noticing any problems.

honestly i also have a laptop with a intel; hd 4000. it depends, some people can run battlefield 3-4 on medium with it. i myself can run some games on moderate settings. it could be worth a try, and if it doesnt work, get a refund.

It seems like the weakest part is the RAM & VRAM. Since intel uses ram for vram, upgrading it will allow more dedicated memory, but it still sounds unplayable with 8GB (1.7GB dedicated), because of the minimum required CPU power.

I would wait to see if the game has ingame settings to lower the graphics before trying to buy it.

Or you can buy it and try out if your laptop can handle it and refund if it can't . You can fully refund a game if you refund within 14 days from when you buy it if pre order 14 days starting from the launch date and not over 2 hours of gameplay . The refund process only work if you buy game directly with stream and not from stream key from a retrailer shops .

MS Windows 7 64-bit SP1 Intel Core i5-3210M CPU @2.50GHz, 8.0GB RAM, AMD Radeon HD 7670M.

I'm not a computer guy so noidea if I'd cope or not. Can someone help?

I might be the only one thinking you have a shot at playing this (Maybe at 1024 x 768), I think I'm pretty sure the minimum system requirements for this game is 1080p 30fps and recommended is for 1080p 60fps (Note I could be wrong) so at 1024 x 768 I think with low/medium settings you may be able to pull out an enjoyable 30fps experience. You're best bet would be to Pre-Order the game if you can, play the game for a few minutes see if you get a decent frame-rate and if you don't just refund it (you can refund as long as you have not played more then two hours in Resurrection and GE2:RB (so no more then 1 hour and 59 minutes played) and within 13-14 days of release)
