Kanon is agressive, can heal everyone, and breaks bonds easily. Kigarumi can hold and poison mobs and also break bonds with the buckshot skill.
That, and I gave Nana hold attacks in lieu of the HP up I would normally give her, as she defaults at maximum HP.
But I think the status proc abilities are changed based on their associated weapon. That an everyone's got their own style and maybe kigurumi and kanon just compliment yours better. Also, I may be biased in that I just sort of automatically like the plot characters better than the side-characters.
If your struggling, just Blood Rage your way through!.
The "peas at a giant crab" mentality? Where you're sitting on a nuclear arsenal to shame the US and you're throwing peas at a giant crab instead of using it out of the fear that there's an even bigger giant crab behind it? Or did you just not like blood rage?
I grew up playing RPGs..mostly Final Fantasy and The Legend Of Dragoon, and is my fav genre.......so you get my concept of "always save resources, MP, your transformation guage and your bests moves for the boss or final boss. Otherwise, you will struggle without those on the battle that really matters.
Also on RPGs, if you struggle to beat the random battles enemy even with your strongest move, thats a signal you still need to level up a bit before the boss, otherwise, he will rekt you...really bad; you need to last long on that battle to AT LEAST understand how the boss fight and comeup with an strategy to beat it.
I dont fear an even harder boss, but more likely..., I do prefer a little challenge too, if I destroy the game purely on Blood Rage...what I am suppoused to do when I dont have it?. I prefer to dominate my playstyle without Blood Rage for the situation...but Burst Mode....I keep that at Lvl3 ALL THE TIME, and use my bullets...Blood Rage is the only thing I save up.
