Then again, I've bond breaking OCD, and it was a difficult habit to lose when I was playing the hardest missions in the 1.
I hate Sekhmet variants of the Chi-You even more, they just love to ruin your day.
A longsword is good against Chi-You/Sekhmet due to the Zero Stance blast, it deals with their leg bonds easily enough and the wings too since that part is weak to slashing. The head however still needs a BB or a Hammer.
Every single time i see a Sekhmet i hit BR and just kill it quickly before it bothers me.
Now, Sariels are the bane of my existence. I didn't have much of a problem with them in Ressurection due to Air Devours and good party composition, but in GE2 I find it extremely difficult to knock one down from the sky.
It doesn't help that I don't know what party members tend to use what weapon. I know in GER, Kota, Gina, and Karel worked well with their onslaught of bullets, but I don't have Karel and Gina yet in 2 and Kota is more of a healer now.
PS: the mission with 2 of the golden ones took 40mins XD
Also, yes, I've seen terrible terrible things done to Chi-You with shotguns. I remember a video of a guy shooting one straight for 7000 dammage, but that was in the first game. I remember making a bullet special to destroy Sekhmet in the first game for the mission to beat one, a gboro and a Pita in 5 minutes with only one ally.
For the Fierce Kongou, use explosive bullets, as regular ones will only work on the head. Head is weak to pierce and slash, and you usually can knock the Kongou back well enough by hitting him right in the kisser. And if you managed to break his back, it becomes pretty vulnerable to explosive bullets too. When it's about to spin or charge and do a wind up movement, usually if you go for an air combo, it will charge right under you while you're in the air. You can use that to hit his plume too. I personnally find being right in his face works best, and if I get separated, I pull the gun and empty it on his silly face.
For the scorpions, usually the shields are easy to destroy with explosives too. Once that's down, they are huge weakpoints you can hit for tremendous dammage. Enough hits in thoses tends to stagger a scorpion big time, assault rifles in particular tend to do that really well. It's not rocket science as their attacks come pretty fast, and you have some pretty hard to avoid like when he jump on your suddenly, or stab the ground repeatedly, or the big circular tail swipe(which is easier to see coming but if you are in the middle of something, you may not have enough time to block it).
I only just fought that bugger. Holy sh*t it was a pain! Even worse than the first time I fought a Blitz Hannibal in Resurrection!
But seriously, to heck with Chrome Gawain. And Livie for that matter. She is useless in that fight.
Dude what is the level of your gear? He only incapped Livie and I once before we took him down. It took around 10-15 minutes with a Blood Rage towards the end.
What's your gear setup? He is not hard to beat
I solo it about 3 times total, 1/3 of it was bursting and the rest was full on will power. Played over 300+ hours on my vita... Only with a Short Blade, Buckler, and assult. Every time I fight it it get's me to the point of thowing my whole PC out of the f*cking window.
