Who do you Find the Most Annoying Monster?
Topic ^

Mainly for me its the aragami that has the giant wings and claws. Attempting to hit the weakpoints on the claws is just tiresome.

I persist to say Chi-You are horribly annoying, at least if you don't use a hammer or buster sword, and try to break every part. Killing them isn't that much of the problem, but stripping them of their bonds is the annoying part. And unless you've reached end game gear and don't need parts/tickets anymore, you NEED to break every single bond ever until you've upgraded everything.

Then again, I've bond breaking OCD, and it was a difficult habit to lose when I was playing the hardest missions in the 1.

I hate Sekhmet variants of the Chi-You even more, they just love to ruin your day.
A longsword is good against Chi-You/Sekhmet due to the Zero Stance blast, it deals with their leg bonds easily enough and the wings too since that part is weak to slashing. The head however still needs a BB or a Hammer.

Every single time i see a Sekhmet i hit BR and just kill it quickly before it bothers me.

I find Chi-Yous fairly easy, but then again I am a Shotgun main and Shotguns do fairly well against them using Buckshot (and the Ignore Defense bullet). There are even more easy in GER with that one charged devour that spits out a Charged Aragami bullet, it kills them very quickly.

Now, Sariels are the bane of my existence. I didn't have much of a problem with them in Ressurection due to Air Devours and good party composition, but in GE2 I find it extremely difficult to knock one down from the sky.

It doesn't help that I don't know what party members tend to use what weapon. I know in GER, Kota, Gina, and Karel worked well with their onslaught of bullets, but I don't have Karel and Gina yet in 2 and Kota is more of a healer now.
Fierce Kongou. The things have a penchant for AoE damage and also like to go bullet immune for no apparent reason. Can't get close. Can't stay at range. Turns into either hit and run or damage trading for short blades.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SCORPION WITH THE SKULL SHIELD ♥♥♥♥ THAT THING!

PS: the mission with 2 of the golden ones took 40mins XD

Well if you fight a Chi-You and use a longsword, I assume normally you use a gun with some kind of explosive bullet for crush dammage, which makes using the zero stance shot a moot point, unless you use a sniper and rely on that to do your only source of crush. I wouldn't do that though. Head is actually weak to pierce, not crush. So sniping it is the best option, failing that, trying to get it with an air combo. Hence the "annoying" part.

Also, yes, I've seen terrible terrible things done to Chi-You with shotguns. I remember a video of a guy shooting one straight for 7000 dammage, but that was in the first game. I remember making a bullet special to destroy Sekhmet in the first game for the mission to beat one, a gboro and a Pita in 5 minutes with only one ally.

For the Fierce Kongou, use explosive bullets, as regular ones will only work on the head. Head is weak to pierce and slash, and you usually can knock the Kongou back well enough by hitting him right in the kisser. And if you managed to break his back, it becomes pretty vulnerable to explosive bullets too. When it's about to spin or charge and do a wind up movement, usually if you go for an air combo, it will charge right under you while you're in the air. You can use that to hit his plume too. I personnally find being right in his face works best, and if I get separated, I pull the gun and empty it on his silly face.

For the scorpions, usually the shields are easy to destroy with explosives too. Once that's down, they are huge weakpoints you can hit for tremendous dammage. Enough hits in thoses tends to stagger a scorpion big time, assault rifles in particular tend to do that really well. It's not rocket science as their attacks come pretty fast, and you have some pretty hard to avoid like when he jump on your suddenly, or stab the ground repeatedly, or the big circular tail swipe(which is easier to see coming but if you are in the middle of something, you may not have enough time to block it).

I only just fought that bugger. Holy sh*t it was a pain! Even worse than the first time I fought a Blitz Hannibal in Resurrection!
Considering I've been stuck on Chrome Gawain for 2 days now, combo'd with the fact that I've failed no other mission before hand, I'd have to say... Ogretail.

But seriously, to heck with Chrome Gawain. And Livie for that matter. She is useless in that fight.
Chrome Gawain really?

Dude what is the level of your gear? He only incapped Livie and I once before we took him down. It took around 10-15 minutes with a Blood Rage towards the end.

What's your gear setup? He is not hard to beat

Arius Nova (Level 13) in Resurrection, Seriously one of the worst bosses I have EVER played in a video game due to how f*cking cheep it is. Basicly it's a reskin version Dyaus pita takes more then half of your HP if you get hit with one of the attacks, can't even blink or else you die... That's what I did about 5 times. 2 in the PC version 3 in the PS vita version all solo, some I even did without bursting to see how cheep as fu*k it is. Even when your god arc is fully upgraded you will STILL have trouble with the boss.

I solo it about 3 times total, 1/3 of it was bursting and the rest was full on will power. Played over 300+ hours on my vita... Only with a Short Blade, Buckler, and assult. Every time I fight it it get's me to the point of thowing my whole PC out of the f*cking window.
