I need help or tips for Story 129 Suspension Bridge Mission ! its hard when i got in the 4th mission..any tips defeating it?

it's 2-man story mission iirc ? againts chrome gawain ?
someone got similar problem, there are various answers depending on what gear are you using.

btw do not hesistate to ask for help. if you want i can also do it.

Easiest way to do it is in multiplayer. He was really hard with a knife. Basicly just stay back and wait for opening. Dont rush into him.

This mission seems to be the one mission most people have a hard time huh.
You can ask others for help I suppose ( and from me as well if I'm available)

Stuff I used:
Bettle Assault Rifle: Once you break an enemy´s body part spam your bullets to deal massive damage. Works even better with Blood Rage. This riffle will give you lots of hp
Thunder Knife (short sword)-- Gawain´s weakness (you will not have enough time to attack many times)
Kurogane shield (I finished Gilbert´s final mission. P.D. Gil´s AI is rubbish). This lovely shield will block 100% of tghe damage received if you block. The defense rate is above 1000 (that´s a lot even for difficulty 12)
Blood ART: Blood Cascade IV (that means you are going to spam your weak attack button)

Defense modules + Devour = HP recover (you need sustain for the first few rounds. You can mliterally just heal by devouring your bosses. You will need all the medicine against Gawain).

Evoke meter at least 350%

Lots of healing items, traps and grenades

Strategy
a) Livie is useless. It is a 1 Vs 1 battle. Don´t bother reviving her
b)Your shield will block all the damage. Try pressing the block button all the time and hit once or twice (you will learn that Gwain loves to attack, jusmo back and attack again)
c) Use a trap or granade to buy time to use Blood Rage. Choose the following challenges: Many hits, loose some HP and Devour.
You will rely on your dodging skills and and sick button mashing skills to deal damage (If you have a full OP bar, your ice bullets will deal many hits + lots of damage. This will help you fill the Blood Rage requirements).
IF YOU DID EVERYTHING CORRECT you will go BLOOD RAGE (incincible). You only need need to spam that weak attack button to deal massive damage (your blood art will let you make infinite attacks).

GAO closer: Dash>Weak attack>Dash>Insta Devour if you know your attack will reach and if you are sure Gawain wont attack or you have enough time to block

Use more traps to keep the enemy in one place and experiment (maybe your bullets will deal more damage than your sword if you broke a limb).

It took me around 2 or 3 RAGE BLOOD cycles to defeat the enemy.

DONT BE AFRAID to loose all you HP. That means free HP when you are back (you are saving healing items)

I almost kill him with long sword's Sonic Caliber as a range attack and some blasts but no time for healing or devouring I must upgrade my roaring cannon more I think. Did some long range slashes and blocked his attacks

Used Buster Blade/Blast Gun/Tower Shield to beat it last night. Everything was going smoothly until this mofo showed up.

Anyways here is my main tips:
-Conserve all items and Blood Rage until you face the Chrome Gawain.
-Don't rush in and be patient. Gotta block and dodge like a madman as well.
-Ignore Livie unless low on endurance. She will die a lot.
-Combo/Dash devour to get health/OP and stay in Burst mode whenever you can.

i already played with 3 ppl,but still the same..DC after 3rd or 4th mission..sometimes DC on after taking the mission..i hope they fix this problem
