Try that, alternate it with something else.
I mean, this is a hunting game, can get repetitive (or most likely WILL get repetitive), but its like most games nowdays. You dont have games where almost every level is different..in fact, most of the levels will be the same or the same mechanic and only few will be different.
Pretty much this. What makes it even worse, is that I feel less dynamic and agile in battle due to the lack of predator styles, so it is not only that the story moves at snail pace, but the gameplay feels slower as well.
Also, and maybe this is due to me getting good at it after many hours of Resurrection (doubtful), but this game feels absurdly easy- at least at difficulty 6, where I'm at. Even the new big "boss" Aragami have been absolute pushovers so far (or maybe the scythe's spin to win is OP).
- if you play GER first then GE2RB : downgrade in the battle system because of the lack of predator styles, though gameplay feels closer to GEB (faster, you don't have to play as safe), inferior story, but you get Blood Arts.
- if you play GE2RB then GER : you have to play safer, gameplay feels slightly slower because of it, lacking Blood Arts but has predator styles and cool gameplay additions with them.
100% agree with you, GE2 is a joke when it comes to difficulty (so far at least).
The first half really is a breeze, especially once you get any blood art high enough.
The "story" bits pick up as you unlock more character episodes and side missions.
It's a long game, but I had a ton of fun. I hadn't finished due to my weakness in kanji had crafting and making load outs and bullets kinda rough when the survival missions got crazier and mandatory.
