"Event!" Appearing under characters names?

As the title implies, for some reason when I am about to go into battle it shows "Event!" beneath a characters name, why is this?

It's for character episodes, basically side missions that give you more toys to play with, selecting someone with "Event" unlocks their story arc upon that missions completion, but you can only do one event per mission

I didn't want to mess up the story by missing something out, I thought it mean't something along the lines of there was a event I had to go to before missions but I couldn't find anything, so I thought I'd ask here instead of possibly missing something or messing up :P

It's cool dude, no harm done. Honest questions about game mechanics never hurt anybody, especially in a game like this that does not afford you the comfort of reloading an earlier save.
