Soma and Rachel

Can anyone fill me in why Soma and Rachel know each other. It as shown in one cutscene where they met each other outside of the Director's Office. It's bugging me ever since.

It's not that they know each other. It's just that, they are...kinda the same. If you've completed GE:R, then play GE2:RB while paying attention to the whole story, you'll get why they are kinda "familiar" and being "sarcastic" to each other.

I get what you mean, but the way they talk to each other during that scene it's like they know each other's secret.
I already completed GER and restarted GE2RB(don't like the first playthrough). I can't see anything that explains it.

The way that Rachel was saved was from Soma's P95 Bias Factor. To gain access to the Bias Factor, her dad must contact with Johannes and he told Soma that he kinda "saved" someone
