-Romeo is dead, but he will come back at the end. Not only that, but the game will insist on how everything would have been impossible without him and his blood power, and how he pretty much saved the local Marie Sue.
-Julius will end up making "The Sacrifice" and most of the game will be trying to save him and bring him back.
-Rachel will kill herself. You don't even get to kill her. At which point she will lay dormant for a long time until someone ends up a traitor and wake her up. Her boss fight at the whole end of the game is extremely disappointing, as she's way weaker than hard missions bosses for one level of difficulty lower. So when you do finally kill her, it's globally unsatisfying. Game even tries to redeem her at the end.
-You will get to hear from her sister Rachel's story. It's at least a bit interesting to understand how things came to that. It's a bit silly as explanations stand though.
-You will soon meet the character of Livie "Marie Sue" Collette. At which point you will feel even more of a mailboy, because Livie feels like a character which was made 100% to be cool and be able to do what others can't do. She gets better toward the end, but even then...
-Capy won't get bigger. She has reached her cap size.
So, yeah. You're not going to like it, that's for certain.
Gameplay wise, though, you will get to explore the Spirit Tree, which is interesting enough for the aesthetics of the zones. You will meet new monsters, and murder them very very dead. You will get blood rage, which is a game changer(and no, it's not due to Romeo's arc, thankfully). You will also get pestered by urgent missions every 5 minutes because multi part missions count for multiple missions as far s the urgent mission counter is concerned. Do yourself a favor and don't force yourself to do them if you don't feel like it. This way lie madness and frustration, trust me on that.
Great ofcourse he comes back i guess death means nothing then xD ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its bad enough now he has to return... i dont know if this fallows the anime it feels like it does as most choices here mean nothing and even have the same response lol which is sad would like to see more differences to see how the story would change with my actions but ohh well.. and its good to know more character come in that are more relevent to the story then me lol (not asking to be god here just hey look i did this so i made a difference...<more of that would be nice)
well thank you for the feedback really it calms me down (even if its not what i wanted to hear its better to find out now then expect something great and only get infuriated lol)
maybe they will make a 3rd game with even more interesting combat (i mean combat is a little bore but the combat customization like bullets and type of attacks are nice i spend time there finding which suit me) and maybe better story that does not tie into the anime if god eater 2 even ties into as never sow the anime but i did hear that it does effect the game so maybe less of relation maybe even new character just for the game so i dont have to go trough all this drama and 0 satisfaction
The fun thing is, Julius' return on a gameplay standpoint is a very bad thing because his God Arc is probably one of the best to use as support link. It gives full burst from the start of the mission and at the 2 minutes mark if for some reason you lost it. The only contender in term of support god arc is Kigurumi's who clone your.
Speaking of that, at some point Livie will use Julius God Arc for consequent part of the story, and when she does and is on mission, you can't use it. Same obviously for when you use Julius. So you have a problem of lack of burst 3 for at least the 2 first minutes, the only replacement being Alisa(alt) God Arc, which is Full burst at 2 minutes, and post game Kate's God Arc, which is Full burst from the get go and at the 5 minutes mark(if you don't play hard misions, the mission is usually over BEFORE the 5 minutes mark).
I don't know about the anime, I thought the anime stopped after some of the events of the first game. I don't know if it follows the second. Never watched it, never will.
Oh, and also, I forgot to mention, but Leah despite looking evil will end up actually a nice person and try to redeem herself and her sister.
But yeah, I hate Romeo and everything he stands for. He's a failed clone of Kota, but while Kota had a lot of heart and managed to be touching and actually even decent during some of the most serious moments(I really like his speech about society and the world before the Aragami existed, it kinda makes you think about everything we take for granted), Romeo is 100% annoyance, with the only moment I actually managed to open to him the moment when he punched Gil. Because at that point he stopped to be completly 2 dimensionnal. But that arc was resolved almost immediatly and in an unsatisfactory fashion.
Basically, Romeo is the trope that I call "The Naruto". A guy dumb as a brick, but over enthusiastic who stumble his way into the plot and win by virtue of being the guy with "The power to gather people around him". Or so the plot would want to make you think, everyone rational just think he's just an annoying fool you want to kill to make room for more interesting characters. I love how Romeo managed to be the crystallisation of everything wrong:
-His name is Romeo, which, especially for girls, is groan inducing. A guy named Romeo is the worst thing, because we know who Romeo is, and what they usually mean, which is a seductive arsehole that will be insufferable. Never name any character Romeo, character designers, that's a poor idea.
-He is blond with blue eyes to boot, fitting the cliché of the handsome prince, or Little Lord Fontleroy, he even has the baby face. That just make him three times as punchable. Girls like bad boys, boys don't like handsome guys.
-He wears a beanie, which is a 9 on the Fedora Scale of poor head covers.
-He is a complete fanboy for the local idol. That cliché makes him annoying. Doubled by his fanboyism for the local vocaloid.
-He's a slacker and and idiot coupled with a braggar. Braggars are already annoying, when bragging come from people who can't hold their own in a fight and complete rookies, it's insufferable.
-He wears cargo pants and pin's, in a style that sounds like faux-retro-surburbian. It's not first game Kota level of ridiculous shorts, but it's up there in bad taste. Thankfully I can put him in an uniform for battles, but still.
