Im sad to say...
That i haven't been able to finish GER because i got burned out of the game, i mean i finished the "main story" and then advanced a bit about the whole "Lindow is a Werewolf" but i was burned out and i wanted to finish but seriously the grind is stupidly boring, i wanted better equipment and i grinded but the RNG is GARBAGE and i never get the parts that i need and i just stopped playing it altogether...

I want to finish it but my god seriously the grind is idiotic, the game is already repetitive as ♥♥♥♥ at least you should be able to improve your gear consistently to keep you entertained... i started playing Salt and Sanctuary and didn't look back, i finished it already and i still have this game...

Does anyone know about a trainer to get all the crafting materials or something because i don't want to grind... to be honest i was a bout to see the last cutscenes in youtube because grinding in an already repetitive as ♥♥♥♥ game is boring to tears, i have already more than 40 hours in the game and while i enjoyed it for what it is even if i hated some aspects of it im reaaaally burned out and i just want to see the rest of the story and i rather do it playing than watching it on youtube.

I don't care, i despise grinding specially when the game is already repetitive, you can't have a repetitive game and on top of that grinding. And if you took the time to actually read you could see that i did crafted what i wanted to craft but as soon as the filler missions started to kick in i uninstalled the game and saw the rest on youtube.

I played pretty much the entire 2 main arcs but the end of the second (director and lindow's arc) what i saw on youtube was pretty much the final scene of lindow's arc and the third arc that involves the aragami girl, to be honest, playing through all of that wouldn't have been worth the time, the story is pretty meh and full of cheesiness.
If you hate Grinding then why aren't you playing in Competitive games instead on this? Why are you still whining about the faults you said and hate instead of going on to another game and play there? I don't get it. It's not as if the devs will change the whole game because someone hate it, especially if it isn't one of those competitive games that needs constant balancing and updates..

We're fine here, you can go play other games if you hate this..

Are you stupid dude?, seriously ♥♥♥♥ off fanboy, read all what i wrote YOU ARE THE ONE THAT CAME TO ME AND STARTED COMPLAINING ABOUT WHAT I SAID, i was already done i wasn't even gonna post but noooo, you fanboys can't stand no one saying something about "your precious", you could just not say anything and move on but no , you had to come and complain about me for disliking the grind even though i already explained that i got the items that i wanted and that i already uninstalled the game and saw the cutscenes on youtube, even though all of that has been said you still come and complain and want to start a fight with me, seriously just ♥♥♥♥ off already.

BTW i didn't said i hate the game but because you are a fanboy your 1 braincell prevents you to understand that complains about something you like are completely valid and understandable.

Yea, the pacing is what killed it for me. The story is way to spread out and killed my motivation to finish it. over 6 monthes later i'm at the last mission, and am like "lets get this over with". Let you know how i feel when i actually finish the first one on the PS4.

Yeah, this is the main problem of the game, if not for this i wouldn't have minded the grind but you are already grinding the story and makes everything boring to tears at some point.

The first game thankfully had alternative Masked Ogre for all your farming needs. Doesn't help I had to farm that stupid Pita for an ungodly amount of times, but at least, the positive is I learned to fight them, so in the end, it was a good training. Silver linings and all that.

The 2 on the other hand, is very bad with its grinding for multiple reasons:
-First, you need to either make one part drop, or finish the difficulty you're at story wise to be able to craft what you're missing with tickets. This is an horrible design choice.
-Second, a lot of monsters you need parts for are in the last missions of multi parts missions, and there are no easier missions avaible to be able to meet those monster. It's not that it's hard, it's more it's horribly tedious because you waste time fighting things you don't want nor need to fight for pitiful rewards just to have a chance to get what your want. And when the drop rates for what you want are 7%, that's infuriating.
-They forgot the missions like they did in the 1, with just one copy of the monster you need, and which were made just for being able to farm what you were potentially missing. Somehow, they forgot the good they did in the first game and removed it for the second.
-You find F tickets by boatloads, and A tickets only drop 20% of the time max when you get the bond break requirement. So you have to luck out for that, or luck out and find an abaddon. You can't convert F tickets for A, which is really sad. The problem of grinding is, you have nothing to prove once you've SSS a mission. So why would game designers choose to make you replay the same mission over and over? It's just not fun. If you could say, make the mission more difficult to get better drop rates, it would actually be a lot better.

Random drop rates are always stupid. When you kill one monster, you are able to kill many more. You shouldn't have to do it, the game should just give you access to your reward and move on. Good ergonomy for a game is cutting the tedium to focus on the fun.

And yet after all that complaining and unistallation, you're still here...
Someone doesn't need to be a fanboy to know how much you're wasting your time complaining something you're not playing already.
Starting a fight? Says the guy who's still attention whoring lol
As if there's no such thing as some kind of form of grinding every RPG lol
Instead of staying quiet like uninstall the game and move on like every normal gamer would do, you're still here..
We already know the faults of the game, what's the point of you saying what we already know to begin with? lol

We're fine here, go play other games already lol

i use cheat engine to make whatever stuff i want. im not recycling 500 weapons at a time for a 1% chance of getting something thats not completely worthless. im not grinding out the same mission 300 times just to get 1 specific drop 5 times to craft something. and im sure as hell not wasting time on undertanding this retarded ass bullet system that seems to randomly decide if my bullets hit each other, and completely disregard that i told it to shoot 1 bullet a second AFTER the 2nd one.

cheat engine is your best friend for ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rng based grindfests. its also hillarious to see how damage means nothing in this game. i can be dealing max damage per hit and i still have to hack away for several minutes before the weakest large enemies in the damn game die.

What you're still here? just go already.
We already know what you think no need to repeat the same thing over and over, we get it. It doesn't need someone to be a fanboy to know that someone hates a game.
I already said we're fine here and you kept coming back.
No one likes an attention whoring gamer

I actually farmed what i wanted but i realized that farming the story was the part that was not fun, like all those filler missions killed the game for me honestly so i just saw the cutscenes con youtube even when i upgraded my equipment to what i wanted it.

see me, i can only fight the same pallete swap nonsense maybe 8-10 times before im bored of that crap and just want to steamroll over to something actually new (only to find that 99% of the enemies in the next chapter are ALSO pallette swaps) and to even survive a mission past like halfway through chapter 2, grinding becomes absolutely required because the crap you start the game with does diddly ♥♥♥♥, and you always need 5 of a material you never get any drops for to build the weapon you want/feel you need for the next major mission.

granted, i literally do not use the shield function at all due to the ultra slow and clunky seeming animations and the fact that im playing this instead of monster hunter for the rapid speed niceness. so maybe thats why. still though, its very disheartening to see that enemies take the same time to kill when im doing 10k per swing as when im doing a few hundred.

Yeah i understand but for me like i said what killed it was the filler missions, also maybe you want to try guns i myself found them boring and overcomplicated for no reason in fact the game never tells you there is a bullet editor but if you invest time on that crap supposedly you can do a lot of damage with em.
oh i use guns. i edit the bullets with cheat engine however, so i can ignore the idiot rules in place that stop me from firing multiple shots or make my bullet take like 1200000 points to shoot it while it does like no damage. melee, i mostly use the scythe. because i rather enjoy stabbing the boss in all its body parts at once.

Have your supporter with skills to improve reward, bond or endurane, depending on what you want, and a temates to improve those odds.

on GE2 you need to devour but your burst buffs depend on your skills and upgrade unites. There is an skill called Mutual Upgrade, if transer an aragami bullet to a teammate, that refulls your burst or activate
This ^ it's really easy to get materials to upgrade your gear unlike Monster Hunter that can take days. My recommendation to make it even easier for you try creating a set of gear from the same enemy and upgrading that wenever possible.

Oh don't start on the bullet editor rant again. You were told you could have just copied recipes from the internet but you said you only used melee anyways. You then proceeded to kick your feet and call everyone fan boys for days.

Yeah it wasn't terribly bad what i really disliked and burned my desire to keep playing or to grind was the filler pointless missions, i realized that as soon as i got my upgrades and got the first filler mission of many.
