Fullscreen = Black Screen?
For some reason when I try to load the game on full screen, all I get is a black screen reguardless of graphics settings. The game is playable but it's really annoying that the game is $50 but won't run on full screen. Anyone else having this problem?

Core I7 6700K
16 Gbs of DDR4 memory
Nvidia GTX 1070

Well, there are some games that acts like this for some reason, and seeing you're using Nvidia, try rolling back the Nvidia driver version. I got the same issue as yours, but then this solved the issue.

I'm having the same issue after updating to the new version, so how do I downgrade to a previous version?
Taken from the website http://www.nvidia.com/object/driver_rollback.html

Windows XP steps to roll back your driver:

1.Click Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Performance and Maintenance and then System (in Category view) or System (in Classic view)
4. Select the Hardware Tab
5. Click Device Manager
6. Double-click on Display Adapters
7. Double-click on your NVIDIA GPU
8. Select the Driver Tab
9. Click on Roll Back Driver

Windows Vista or Windows 7 steps to roll back your driver:

1. Click Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Windows Vista: Click System and Maintenance and then System or simply System (in Classic view). Windows 7: Click System and Security and then System.
4. In the left pane, click Device Manager
5. Double-click on Display Adapters
6. Double-click on your NVIDIA GPU
7. Select the Driver Tab
8. Click on Roll Back Driver

Option 2: Uninstall the Current Driver:

When you installed your current driver, if you first uninstalled the previous driver you won’t be able to roll back. In this case, follow the same steps that you previously used to uninstall your driver. Once complete, you can then download and re-install the recommended driver.

Even on other windows, it should be pretty much the same.

for me I had to edit the config.ini in the users\[username]\appdata\local folder.

Changed "Fullscreen=1" to either 2 or 3. and it worked.
Thanks but It randomly started working for me one day when I decided to change the fullscreen option by itself instead of changing fullscreen and resolution options together. I had to change it to fullscreen by editing the file, then start the game, then change the screen resolution in game.

My game gives me sound but no video.....

My rig blows it out of the water for specs, but I can't open the config folder maybe due to steam or just lack of finding it. Any suggestions?

Maybe the Windows 7 compatibility mode can fix it? I think it fixed a white screen issue before, it might fix the black screen one as well...

Just an "update" on that, putting vsync to ON in that config worked too.

I went to %appdata% local bandoi folder, god eat folder either one and went into config scrolled down until I seen fullscreen and windowed. I put a fullscreen =0 and windowed=1

Then when I got into game I changed at back to fullscreen in the settings and it worked perfect, even launches with no issue. If you have the gpu power put dsr to 4x in the nvidia control panel for 4k res. it looks awesome xD.

Try disable the ugly fxaa option and turn on Vsync and exit menu to confirm changes
"before you change resolution! another thing fxaa can make the game look blurry :P

Have you tried any of the solution mentioned above in this thread? I don't know about AMD stuff though.
