So I just bought the full version about ...2-3 days ago? What does that mean for my purchase?

What happens to those of us with macs? Do we lose access to the mac version of Star Realms? No more updates?

If you are a Mac user, you will still retain all of your purchases on your account. Simply download Star Realms on the Mac app store, log into your Star Realms account. If your purchases are not showing up, click on "Restore purchases" but for me personally my purchases showed up automatically when I logged in.

Purchases are synced on your Star Realms account. They're just moving away from the Steam platform. You can still play it on all other devices, just not on Steam.

Can't say I'll be supporting the game any longer, then. I dislike the Mac App Store enough that I refuse to use it beyond system updates.

Yeah, thats a shame, I dont play any games from the Mac store. Nearly all my games are on Steam, They are the ones that get played because of that. I do have Star Realms on my iPad so I'll likely play there from now on.

Really bummed about this. I've never used the Mac Store for any programs, Steam is my hub where I have pretty much all the games that I'm not able to download their packages directly.

plus this was the only way I could buy gift expansions for my friends. My other friends who are on Windows/Android. There's no other way that I know of to do a multi-platform gift purchase

Oof! That's the first time a game from my Steam account has been simply deleted from my system. I know we were warned that the app wasn't going to be supported for Mac anymore, but it was working fine in it's current state.

I just don't understand the logic of "I have to use a different client to update?! THIS GAME IS NOW GARBAGE!" Especially since, if you bought the full version, nothing changes. Your purchases are tied to your account, you lose nothing, and suddenly are updated on the client native to the mac. If you hate the App Store so much, why are you using a Mac? It'd be one thing if you had to use iTunes, but the Mac App Store, while not ideal for game discovery, does updates just fine.

Don't you know? If you own a Mac you are supposed to hate games. Saint Steve ordained it.
