GoNNER
Uninstall Blueberry DLC?
The platforming and enemy placing is both awkward and a chore at the same time. It changes the pace of the game too. So, is there a way I can uninstall the dlc?

It's been a while, but I think I managed to uninstall it via Steam Library > GoNNER > Manage My [amount of DLCs] DLC(s) > untick the Enabled box for BLÜEBERRY Edition = disabled?! It was better for me, but for some reason it still ran like 'chips' at times, and it seemed to utilize mostly 1 CPU core ... unlike before the update, so something in the code must have gone wrong :lunar2020thinkingtiger: Results may vary, so hope it works for you!

Oh, sorry ... I have to dig deep into memory, but I do remember the bad performance and that I got different types of enemies in World 1 for instance (like those exploding beings IIRC that were there earlier). So, right after the first boss, you land in this (very disappointing) world where you have to bounce almost all the way through, so not in Robot World? :steamsad:

Yeah, I unticked the dlc and it still dropped me on that stage. I even uninstalled the game and installed it again but that didn’t work either.

Anyways, I saw a YT video and started using the scythe + shark fin combo, which made the game 10x easier and got all the achievements. So, no worries now.

Also, I think those exploding enemies you mention on world 1 appear when you have a 50+ combo going, if I’m not mistaken.

Okay, glad you dealt with it and found a workaround more or less! Congrats :cozybrawlhalla1: I was a fan of the Brick Head + Lightning Gun + Ammo Bag; all I needed + I welcomed the gear, gun & glyph ghosts ;-)

Regarding the exploding enemies: sounds plausible, but don't really remember anymore. Could pick it up again, but maybe I'll play GONNER2 first, which I have added to my wishlist yesterday :winter2019happybulb:

Sorry for the delay here, but did you get this figured out?

appears they did not, even when the dlc was unticked so steam claimed it was not activated, the game still took them through the motions of the dlc

Does anyone know a solution to this yet? The DLC ruined the game for me.

Maybe it's best to scratch what I said up here for the most part, so I never found a solution ... The DLC ruined it for me too, and it seems that after I wrote my review, I only played 3.1 hours more ... :summer2019flag:

Has anyone found a way to uninstall it? I also tried unchecking it but the content keeps showing up in the game as if i still had it installed

@RawFuryGina, it would be nice if you could disable the Blueberry world from within the options or by opting into a previous build of the game. Back when I was still playing Gonner, I bought it after the blueberry update, I could only just barely make it to the final world. The attempts just took too long because of the added world that I gave up reluctantly. The Blueberry world is also very boring while the other worlds are just awesome.

I watched videos from before the update and those make me jealous :D

Was this fixed? I uninstalled the game after the update and deleted my positive Steam review. Is it playable again?

I've been following this game ever since, but no news whatsoever, so wouldn't say so ...
