Upgrading your hull
I just bought a +40 hull improvement from Ghoulwatch, which put me from 150 to 190 hull. However, my hull meter didn't automatically fill up with the purchase, meaning I'm at 150/190 hull and requiring a 100 odd guinea payout to enjoy my improved max hull. Is this on purpose? I would think that the equipment you purchase wouldn't need fixing right away.

u can change equip at any time, so must to repair new extra hull every time. Or it would be exploit.

So it is on purpose? That seems... odd, to be honest, but all right.

As Tristis stated, it's to prevent players from being able to repair their armor for free by simply changing their currently equipped armor.

Though I suppose it would be nice if it at least repaired your armor the first time you purchased/equipped it.

Having to pay for repairs only adds around 100 Gs to the cost of the armor, so it doesn't seem like a problem to me?

Eh, the top-tier armors can cost up to 300 or so to "fix up" after switching to them. That can be annoying if you accidentally switch your armor while you're exploring out in the wild, away from a repair yard.

But it's true, by the time you have access to those armors you'll probably have more money than you know what to do with.
