About the characters

Last week I was looking for a different kind of game and stumbled upon The Lion's Song first and free episode. I fell in love with Wilma's story and everything about the game: from the small details, to the pixel art but, most importantly, to the characters. I could feel each protagonist was really a labour of love, filled with true emotion and personality.

As an aspiring writer myself, this is the kind of game that really speaks volumes to me. What I wish to know was if Wilma, Franz or Emma were based upon real persons that lived on that time period of the game.

Also, a bit of a spoiler about Wilma's ending:

I got the ending where she ends up leaving Vienna after her first major sucess and she is heartbroken. Years later she reconnects with Leos. Are there other endings to our dear musician?

Thanks for your kind words. We are very glad to hear you liked the game that much. We put a lot of love, sweat and tears into the story and character development.

All characters are unique and are not directly based on real persons. We took this choice deliberately to allow enough room for projection and story development. Of course the characters were inspired by people living in that era since we did a lot of research and dug through many books. And it obviously helped being located in Vienna, having the history right outside our own doorstep :-)

There are different endings depending on the choices you make through all episodes,
but Wilma always leaves Vienna at the very end.

As a music student, moving from my born city, I do really feel super conected to Wilma's character. I'm un love with the game.
I also got the ending where she Is success in the concert but anyway she leaves. But she didn't get in contact again with Leos
