I think many people don't like this game because it is named "Guilty Gear" but isn't a fighting game. If you want an RTS in which you can control the hero unit with MOBA or hack-and-slash controls, or if you wish you could give more detailed orders to your army in Dynasty Warriors, this is the game. If you were looking for a fighting game or a Guilty Gear game, this isn't it. It does have some problems, but a few of us keep playing it because it's fun and there's nothing else like it.
It can be hard learning all the armies with their ins and outs. Learning to quickly run loops around the maps also takes a bit of time. Honestly though with online guides being available I feel this is the easiest time to pick up Guilty Gear 2. Especially with how good younger players are at properly learning complex games.
