mine shaft

anyone have any idea where the quest for the mineshaft is? says look in the cave next to the mineshaft tunnel... i am at a loss of where to go

It's in the tunnel that the truck comes through, break the rocks.

i still have the quest open.. ive been all through there, completed most of it i think, ive already got hamsters etc... but the quest is still up

On the left side of the cave at the top, there is an entrance with typical wooden support posts & hanging lanterns. After you pass the Giant Worm & enter the Lava Cave just stay towards the left wall. It is before the hill going down.

that is a dead end. or i'm confused on what the lava cave is.

I've done that but I never used the dynamite and It shows that I have no dynamite in my inventory

There is only dynamite if you have progressed Shelldons quest & he tell you to enter the mineshaft. Then when you return to shelldon, you give him the dynamite
