quick and dirty. i have an idea, which i may have addressed before, but i cannot recall and for my own confirmation, will bring it up again.

i have yet to actually get a vive, but having said that i am experienced on anothers unit which made me want one even more, just because waltz. (yes, i am that keen)

i have two nieces and two nephews.......two i see on a regular basis who are now at an age where "they are interested in magic" when i run a game on my steam link in the family room (perfect for vr) it simultaneously runs on my pc.

IS IT POSSIBLE. that when i run waltz in the living room. i see it inside the headset, but will it still come up on the main tv?

that way the kids can tell me what they want to see, i perform it for them.

Awesome to hear that you enjoyed Waltz so much it made you want to get your own Vive :D.

We have never tried mirroring the VR view through Steam Link as you've described so I can't say from first hand knowledge wherther this is possible or not.

However, according to this and this thread it should be possible. Some users are reporting, though, that streaming via Steam Link can have some effect on performance of VR games.
