Game really good, don't skip before Zero, important stuff is covered. Obviously don't play this game if you haven't played Trails in the Sky FC and SC.

It boggles my mind

Why after two narrative heavy JRPGs they made the third mainline entry a pure dungeon crawler. It started off so well with the prologue but i'm now in chapter 1 and already feel like this entry is pointless and i'm wasting my time instead of playing Zero....

The 3rd installment in the 2D Trails Sky series that is more gameplay focused than the first two games. Out of them it has the best, most versitle and advanced game system from FC and SC and is a great way to challenge yourself. As far as story goes, it does more improve individual character's development via a certain "door" system and sets up the story for the future adventure in Cold Steel games in the continent of Oliver.
