Not sure if it's helpful or not, but I compiled a list of all the items (bar fishing equipment, as it has no usage apart of that one sun door) and their respective hex codes for save hex editing.

Excuse my asking, but would you be, by any chance, interested in creating a "bestiary editor" for the game? Or better said, maybe let the Save Data Editor(s) complete the bestiary by adding this feature. I know that means more work, so I'm just asking/suggesting in case you'd be interested.

I have an FC save file with the full bestiary, in case you want to look into this.

I've figured out where in the save file the bestiary is, and how it stores the data. The only problem is that the "location" of the enemy is hard coded in the save file. That means that if I fill it automatically, it'll have the wrong location data.

If all you're interested in is a full list, that will work fine. I could make an editor though, so you can add enemies and set their locations, but it'll take a long time to fill the bestiary using that method.

If someone has a full bestiary for TC, I can extract the bestiary data and then use that to fill other peoples.

the 3rd's bestiary has an additional problem: it also registers which items have you gotten from the enemies. For an actuall full bestiary you have to obtain every single item from every enemy. This includes doing NG+ a lot of times for bosses that only appear once.

Is there an achievement linked for this? I'm wondering, if I make it so you can edit the bestiary manually, could it be completed correctly? If so, I could then extract the manually created correct data, and use that for other people.

That's actually really helpful. I'll convert that to the format I use, and put that in. Thanks a lot

There's no achievement, it's just me being a completionist. There's also an additional piece of information, which is the monsters' locations. Everytime you beat a monster in a new place, that place will be added to the bestiary. In FC, there's a monster that appears in 4 places, but only 3 can be shown at the same time.

I only have the FC bestiary completed. Do you want it?
