Adding to the pile, the closest thing in my mind in terms of overall feel is probably Radiant Historia. Decent story with some light politics, likable party members, steampunk elements, great soundtrack. Not a phenomenal game and actually a bit overrated, but it surprised me the same way FC did and I think other Trails fans would enjoy it as well.
As for me, I'm coping by trying out games in other genres while I wait to replay CS2. I actually bought Zestiria/Berseria on a whim just because they were on Steam. While I didn't hate either, finishing them made me realize I just don't have the patience for JRPG's like I used to, and Falcom games are among the few exceptions.
Emulate Wild Arms, Arc the Lad and Skies of Arcadia.
Arc the Lad's boss, espically for the time it was made. Just make sure you play the second one too, because that's where it really takes off.
Any classic Game Arts JRPGs (i.e. Grandia Trilogy and Lunar duology) have nice world building and character interaction that seems to have inspired this trilogy. If you like the music in Game Arts game (shame on anyone who doesn't love Iwadare), try playing Ace Attorney and Langrisser, as they have the same composer and kick ass.
The battle system feels like a cross between PS1 Lunar remakes and Final Fantasy X. The Arts/Crafts delineation reminds me a lot of Phantasy Star 4's Techniques/Skills, though Crafts are handled very differently from Skills.
Phantasy Star 4's cast feel like they would be right at home in Zemuria and the game itself feels like Sega incorporated the best of FF4 and Lunar: TSS into the Phantasy Star series, giving it a much needed modernization.
I'm not huge on Enix, but fans of this game would probably also enjoy Dragon Quest 5's story and world. It's easily my favourite of their non-Quintet games.
Likewise, Lufia 2 has an interesting world, decent aesthetics, wonderful music, and a great love story.

Square's games are very differnt from anything made by Falcom or Game Arts (I find Kiseki 6 to be very inspired by Lunar and Grandia, albeit with better world building), but anything that Square made between 1991 and 2002 that you haven't already played is likely worth playing, as is 2007's The World Ends With You and its FF4 DS remake as well as the Bravely Default games.
Haven't played much of Kingdom Hearts or the new FF games, but they seem more hit or miss to people.
I didn't mind FF13 but I traded it for Lost Odyssey when I was done (something I never would have done with a game from Square's golden era) because I knew that I'd never played it again and its trade-in value at the time was equal to what my GameStop was selling its used copy of Lost Odyssey for.
Rance is a sprawling Epic that started all the way back in 1989 and had its final Game, Rance X released just last Year. It features a ongoing Story that rivals Trails in its scope and worldbuilding, has an amazing Soundtrack and one of the greatest Protagonists ever created by Mankind.
Don't believe me? Just watch this

There is however probably a small, tiny thing that i should mention
Its a Porn Game
If you are ok with that you are in for one of the most amazing Series ever created
Rance I trough IV are freeware, so you can just download them if you ok with old school Games.
Fun Fact: The Translator of the Rance Series over at Mangagamer actually did a few Translations for Trails back when it was uncertain we would ever get the next Game

You can get Evenicle on Steam. It's one of their later games.
Resetera has been complaining about it so you might want to get it quickly before it's removed.
(seriously Steam what's the point of censoring the word "rapist")
This is a bit off topic, but Isn't Adol a bit of a creepy rapist to begin with? At least in Ys 1, you get an achievement for "measuring Feena in the creepiest way possible."
Obviously I'm joking a bit here, but that was one odd achievement.
thats an apt description.
