Weissman's Backstory

In a Star Door we learn he was "orphaned" by the Salt Pale. My head canon is that it poisoned his view of the Church, which made light of his loss by calling the Salt Pale "a blessing from Aidios." If the Goddess was to blame, then he'd devote himself to holding her accountable for her cruelty. Hence his choice to walk the path of the heretic.

I'm curious if other interpretations exist. I doubt we'll learn anything new about Weissman in future arcs, though I'd personally love a North Ambria game where you play as jaegars trying to rebuild their homeland.

We might learn more about him through the survivors of his village. Believe it or not we do meet with people from there and not just jeagers. İts kinda like Hamel in terms of importance to the zemurian continent especially since just like Hamel, it is something thats happened after the great collapse and not just before it. So far I am satisfied with the bread crumbs but I would like to see more. Who knows we might meet with a character from the church that new Weissman and is investigating the matter. The church has a lot of different branches and not all of them agree with each other.

I've heard that CS 4 reveals a bit more backstory of Weissmann, but regadring his days in Ouroboros.
