Question About Sun Doors

So I know you're supposed to beat all of the other Doors to get the Final Door, but does this also include the Sun Doors? (AKA. the minigames.) Or do I have to beat all of those too?

Pretty sure the final door just requires the star doors.

Oh thank God. I've spent nearly an hour on that damn fishing minigame. The thing's burely pased on dumb luck, which isn't always in your favor. So the fact that I can just it is a freaking blessing.

You'll miss out on achievements and rewards though.

You'll need to complete the first level of the Sun Doors.

The fishing game has some element of chance but typically you should beat the opponent by huge margins so that a bit of bad luck doesn't matter.

Well, I haven't been. He's the one who's been beating me by huge margins. Five ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times now. And it's mostly because he lands a 200+ whopper right in the fourth or fifth round. So if that isn't luck, I don't know what is.

It is entirely down to luck. Even if you catch every fish using the right bait you're going to have to hope that you're getting big fish and that the other guy is missing.

You should catch one 150+ fish on average and at times two of them in those five rounds. As I said there is an element of chance but if you lose five times in a row that's far more likely a lack of skill. There are old threats on this board that explain how you should go about the fishing game. Look them up.

To beat the first level of the fishing minigame, use the low-tier rods for the first rounds to catch fish, and then use those fish as bait with the best rod to rack up points. If the problem is bad timing in your part, try closing your eyes and listening for the sound effect that plays when Estelle gets a bite. I cleared it on my first try with this method.
