Are Agate and Tita Really Gonna Be A Couple? (Memory Door Spoilers)

So from what we've gathered from the memory door, Erika obviously hate Agate because she thinks he's being a bad influence to Tita. At the same time, once Agate rescues Tita from the orbal gear, she says something, I don't remember exactly, along the lines of "he shows promise" (Sorry I seriously don't remember). But beside Erika, every character seems to be teasing the fact that Agate and Tita might hook up once Tita gets older. With Agate and Tita being the first Liberl Arc characters announced to appear in Cold Steel 3, do you think we might see a progression in their relationship? Also, I want Erika to appear again because her hatred towards Agate is a hilarious sight to behold. Couldn't stop laughing that entire flashback. XD Plus, I personally think Agate and Tita were made for each other. It would just be odd because of the age gap, but Agate gotta wait until that girl is a young lady.

Agate's the only one present for the B5F tests who couldn't care less for romancing Tita. He both cares for her, like he couldn't with his late sister, and wants her to forge her own path in life rather than simply what the other Russells are planning. She might progress from a crush to real love, but it'll be very one-sided amour unless Falcom's writers decide to throw out important characterization for Agate from the Sky trilogy. The recent Dengeki leak for Sen III mentions how Agate's matured emotionally in the years between SC and this game, so he could probably convince her to hang out with her friends and date someone else if she's having dependency problems. He's a mentor at heart and I don't see him simply giving Tita what she think she wants if he knows it could hurt her.

He's definitely glad to put her in danger if he feels she's capable, though. We'll have to wait and see what direction their relationship takes, but Erika will never stop being silly and Agate will always get beat up.

No. As seen in SC, Agate had struggled with the loss of his sister for a decade, and was able to establish a similar relationship with Tita and finally move on. Aside from Tita's parents, who genuinely believe Agate's a pedophile grooming their daughter, everyone is just teasing them.

Considering everyone in the game is pushing really hard for it, I'm pretty sure it's the intention of the writer to eventually have them become a couple (whether that's something we'll get to see in the games is another thing). If the writer did not intend for that to be the case, he would not be focusing this much about it.

It's essentially a method of foreshadowing that writers use. You can compare it to 'the final battle' in some RPG coming up, but 1 or a few characters happen to mention something about having a bad feeling about it. Then after or during the battle, stuff happens and it turns out you're only halfway through the game.

Besides that, everyone seems to notice it in the way they're interacting. I'd say it's very likely that they are in love, just not aware of it yet. Regardless of what the 2 of them say, everyone seems to have the impression that they are a couple. This includes Tita's parents.

Tita is also not young enough to make Agate a pedophile. She's 13 in this game. They don't have a lustful relationship either, but even if that was the case... it still wouldn't make him a pedophile since she's already a teen. Anyway, you don't even need to have sex or even kiss to have a healthy, happy relationship.

Don't know they will or not but I want them to become a couple. I mean what the point of those shipping scene in the past game that writer keep throwing at us if in the end romance between them doesn't happen.

EDIT: In all seriousness, I thought I should point out: Yes, Tita does say she loves Agate in SC, but there's different kinds of love besides romantic love. I love my friends like siblings, but that doesn't mean I'd date them.

I don't see how. I think you shippers are just letting wishful thinking cloud your judgement. They're relationship is the same as pretty much every other brother-sister pair in any anime.

Lol... These comments are funny. Agate + Tita have been shipped a long time ago. Literally everything in the game ships them.

Dan literally says how similar Tita is to Erika. Erika is an Orbal Engineer that fell in love with a Bracer, a.k.a. Dan, that eventually retired because of an injury. Tita is an Orbal Engineer that fell in love with a Bracer, a.k.a. Agate.

"But Agate only sees Tita as a sister". No ♥♥♥♥, she's a kid, that will change once she becomes a young adult.

It's the same as saying that Estelle and Joshua couldn't become a couple because she only saw him as a Brother. Grow up kids.

Take a step back and listen to yourself.

I'm amazed Agate ditched the headband. It's almost like his refusal to take it off in the baths in SC was simply laziness on the devs' part ;p
