Regarding the ending ( no spoiler )

I just finished playing trough the game and I like to list my toughts on the ending here.

At the end where everyone said goodbye I got really teary eyed, I tought that was an amazing way to say goodbye to the trails in the sky series, however after the credits I felt myself little bit disatisfied. Would have loved to see a cutscene of them coming back and showing their toughts in private.

Now here is a question,
I know that there are more trails series like cold steel and Im wondering if in any other series there is a continuation on Joshua and Estelle's search and about things that happened after this adventure. Besides this I also wonder if trails of cold steel is gonna be conferted to pc or not.

The Joshua and Estelle searching for Renne plot gets concluded in one of the Crossbell games, if I'm not mistaken. Zero no Kiseki, iirc.

Estelle and Joshua storyline continues and concludes in Trails to Zero. Kevin and Ries appears in Trails to Azure. And Prince Olivert's story with Giliath Osborne continues in Trails of Cold Steel.

It's also just been revealed Tita and Agate will turn up in Cold Steel 3, robot apparently in tow.

BTW, calling it a pre-story for Zero can be a bit confusing since I got the impression it takes place BEFORE 3rd. (which would make it a prestory for 3rd)
