Here I will address some common issues people have that I don't want to clutter up the bug threads.

The game won't start!
Make sure your antivirus isn't blocking the game! Antiviruses often assume Steam games to be viruses, although it's absolutely a false positive. Try disabling movies. There's a good chance that something external to the game is interfering with its ability to play movies and causing it to crash. Also, make sure that you've run the game's configuration tool and set up its resolution, etc. before running the game!

The game freezes/crashes during/after a movie!
Same thing as above. Programs like ffdshow can sometimes cause this problem, as can other media players that basically take over your DirectShow media playing entirely.

The camera just keeps spinning!
Disable the right-stick camera in the Configuration Tool or adjust the sensitivity. Common issue with unorthodox controllers, or with certain DS3/DS4 drivers.

There's annoying frame stuttering!
Try the fixed 30 FPS and 60 FPS settings for the frame limiter. Failing that, you may be able to cap the game to 60 FPS using an external tool. If you are on a dedicated GPU (NOT Intel) you should als oenable the Hardware Vertex Shader in the game's configuration tool.

There's weird blue/gray textures all over the place!
Please try disabling Hardware Vertex Shader in the game's configuration tool..

The game doesn't detect my Nvidia graphics card on my Nvidia Optimus laptop!
Unfortunately, I can't fix this. The game runs in DirectX version 8 right now, and Nvidia has deprecated support for DirectX version 8 in their Nvidia Optimus drivers. You can try using a DirectX 8 to DirectX 9 wrapper -- some people have had luck. On some Optimus laptops, you can disable the Intel graphics entirely from the BIOS, forcing the game to use the Nvidia because it's all that's left. Otherwise, you'll just have to make due for the moment, I'm afraid. x_x

Where's my stuff from my Trails in the Sky Second Chapter clear save!?
Well, it's a bit less obvious than you'd think; You get it early in Chapter 1.
You don't start with it in the Prologue. It's integrated kind of naturally.
When you get a bunch of extra sepith and possibly some items to help you out -- that's it.

The movies are stuttering!
This is usually a result of ffdshow hooking the game and not really agreeing with how the game is handling its frame rate on your system. Add the game to ffdshow's exceptions. If it's not that, something else may be hooking the system -- or you might just lack the CPU power. They're 1080p 60fps videos, so they are pretty intensive.

Something crazy happened when I alt-tabbed!
If you're alt-tabbing a lot in fullscreen mode, please use borderless windowed mode instead. You can do this by setting the game to your desktop resolution and enabling windowed mode. The game does some really unusual stuff sometimes when alt-tabbing in fullscreen mode due to how it has to restore the graphics engine state.
