Cannot Open Star Door 14

I believe I already open the others since I already have the associated rewards,
I already did Moon Door 1 2nd part, all arenas, and all quiz, however I noticed there's some monster missing in the monster book page Moon Door, apparently the entry I missed was 2 Orbal Gear, a black sheep, and 2 final enemies in moon door 2.

I already went to redo Door 1 part 2 and got my 2 orbal gear entries (even though I already have the craft). From which door is this black sheep? I also want to make sure are you guys filled your monster book (especially the door pages) before you open Star door 14?

Star Door 14 opens once you finish all other doors. And yes, Moon Door 1 has two parts both of which you need to do to count as "complete", methinks.

And no, my monster book was not filled when I accessed Star Door 14.

Do you need to complete the Sun Doors too to unlock this door, or just the Star and Moon Doors?

All Doors. Regrettably. For example, the Fishing is a 3-parter, so you need to complete all three. Same goes for the arena, quiz, gambling, etc.

Ugh. Is it really worth it? The fishing mingame is awful, and the time limit on the quiz is a little ridiculous.

The quiz only has so many answers to cycle through, at least. If you don't know answers (See: Things that aren't explicitly stated in the games, like the characters' birthdays, or the conversion between the in-universe measurements and metric) you can basically trial and error your way through by picking it up as you go along.

As for the fishing, there's definitely an RNG element involved, which is frustrating. Still, at least you only need to do it the once. If you want to open Door 14 again on subsequent playthroughs, you'll need to redo it on NG+, but it's basically optional outside of the runs you go for Star Door 14 in.

I have read you only need to beat the first round of the mini games to unlock Star Door 14. Not sure if that is true.

I enter to star door 14 without doing sun door level 3. I belive it apply to all sun doors.

I'd like to confirm that to unlock the door, you really do only need the first level of every Sun Door cleared. I know because I just opened the door after clearing only one level of the fishing and quiz games. You can also complete the first minigame (the game with Josette) on Easy and it will count.

So in summary for anyone else who pops in, to open Star Door 14:
1. Complete all the Moon Doors (the first one has a second part after you get Agate).
2. Complete all the other Star Doors (including #15, which is at the bottom of the Abyss).
3. Complete the first level of every Sun Door (this is sufficient for the achievement too).

To the person who told me that beating the 3rd fishing minigame was essential: I've had months to cool down so I'm not angry, but I might like to GENTLY smack you upside the head; as a gesture, not to inflict harm. Just as a joke. It's cool.

Shame the Blackjack is still mandatory; the poker is infinitely easier.

No it's not. The Poker requires you to know many complex rules that are way too complicated to be expected to learn just complete a minigame. For that reason, they should have completely deleted that awful poker stuff from the game.

In contrast, Blackjack is very simple to learn and to win at, and therefore much better than Poker.

Well, I know how to play poker, but I don't like it . To me, blackjack is more appealing because it needs more strategy. But the point is, noone should be forced to play something that it's not of his or her taste. Afterall, games should've be fun.
