Anything missable?
I just beat the 2nd game and want to get this game but i want a completionist run on the first playthrough and there really aren't any 100% walkthroughs that are completed yet. The first and 2nd game had so many missable stuff if you weren't careful. Is there alot of missable stuff in this? Side quests/bonus Bp etc

There's less than there is in previous games.

* You'll never have access to the Prologue area after you finish it. Talk to everyone. And there's a chest or two, I believe.

* The game locks its sidequest content behind Doors. (This will make sense when you start playing.) Each Door has an unlock condition. A handful of these unlock conditions require items you find (in the main game, nothing from the Prologue). They are unique, and can't be repurchased if sold. Never sell any unique accessory or quartz.

* At the start of chapter 7, you will find yourself controlling only 2 characters and trapped for a time. Once you clear that area, you will never be back. Get all the chests in it.

* There is a bonus quartz you can get. It's actually a choice between 2 quartz with mutually exclusive requirements. One, you get for never running away from a fight, ever. The other, you get by running away 300 or more times.

I believe that's it. There's no book collecting in this game. There's no hidden quests. There's no quests that expire when the plot progresses. There aren't really even quests at all. There isn't even BP. The game's much more linear and straightforward than any of the others.

There's one more. Every chapter starting from I think Chapter 3 new books will be unlocked in one of the shelves in the Hermit's Garden. These are all books from FC and SC. Always check it for shining dots because if you leave them for too long you can't get them. You get a pretty good item (Esmeslas Circlet) from getting all of them I believe. (If anyone has this feel free to correct me cause I did miss a few books on my playthrough and didn't get the item

I think I read somewhere about a book Schera talks about at the beginning of (Chapter 6?), and if you don't talk to her in the beginning, you'll miss out on it. There's an achievement tied to it too.

Quite a bit.

Never run away from a battle until the final chapter and then go to the CP pool. Run away once and your locked out. You can savescum for the 300 retreat award that you get at the same pool.

Check the shelves in the library at every chapter and read all of the books. They disappear.

Keep your fortune quartz.
