We are always evaluating new VR tech as it becomes available, but we have no current plans to add support for the MR Acer headset at this time.
Currently this is in closed beta and targeted toward developers. There is a link to be included in the closed beta. Hopefully it will expand to be more open soon. I wish I could talk more about it, but I'll have to bite my tongue for now. :)
Just use this, works flawless with my HP MR HMD
As for the Acer headset specifically, we did use the developer edition of the Acer headset for testing the Windows MR support (along with headsets from other manufacturers), so it should work just fine.
I plan to switch from my Oculus Rift to Windows Mixed Reality, so it would be cool if this game would support WMR.
I have a Lenovo headset, a Lenovo Explorer, and I would really like to play this game, I have already tried it at a VR Cafe and Its amazing!! But I'm not sure what headsets it supports. It says only Oculus and HTC Vive but I have other games that say that and work. If the game is available for my headset I'm gonna buy it the second i get a reply, I've waited so long to play Raw Data!
As Bootslapper stated earlier in this thread, we did add basic support for Windows Mixed Reality headsets - Lenovo being one of them. So you should be able to successfully play the game :)
Please note: tutorials, helper system prompts, controller info, etc. will display missing or with placeholder elements.
Then please add the "Windows Mixed Reality" in the properties of the Steam Store (so I see what games are compatible with Windows Mixed Reality.
Thank you!
