Still it wouldn't be enough to make me dislike the game. It's outstanding so far and I appreciate the journey more then the end.
Critter, I actually like that explanation a lot, and I feel like if they really played on that and emphasized that it's the Zodiarc messing with them that caused that, I could have gotten on board with that. HOWEVER, it still would have messed with the gameplay, and I still feel like Xero should have interferred or even become antagonistic. And don't do it at the last mission, do it leading up to the last mission, and then introduce new characters to replace Brice/Xero. Make Brice a boss fight and get Xero to agree she needs to be stopped.
I'm sorry, but if you enjoy a game for nearly 20 hours and then decide to leave a negative review just because of the ending, then I can only assume you're a spoiled child. The fact that you care so much about the characters and the story development goes to show how much you actually enjoy the game - you're invested in it. I'm guessing you also leave bad reviews for great movies that don't have Hollywood happy endings?
Thanks for your answer, I liked the explanation and made me understand things.
