Lightning Symbol Dice

I'm taking the game slow and steady, lots of grinding, not trying to rush. I've been grinding skirmishes awhile fairly early into the game and haven't gotten any lightning symbols on dice gained from them. I've tried elite skirmishes a while too, but they're more brain-intensive so haven't done as much of them and no luck. Any input at all from community?

Developer input welcome as well! Love the crafting system and the ability to customize deck and dice to my favored tactics, trying to learn how to do just that. Thank you all!

Hello sunwalker!

It seems the lightning symbols are quite rare; I'm at story mission 12 and my characters are in their early 20's and I only have a total of 3 lightning symbols in all the dice I've looted and they were all on Nahmi dice.

There doesn't seem to be a dice level requirement to have a lightning symbol though. I have a lvl1, lvl 2 and lvl 3 dice each with a lightning symbol.

I guess you'll eventually get to see them as you play since the dice configurations are random when looted. I hope it helps :)

I got an extra lightening dice immediately for Nahmi after the first mission. It's made the starting fights that people seem to have trouble with much more reasonable.

These dice symbols are rare, but so powerful. I imagine you'll want every character to have at least two dice with a lightening symbol, so you can use your rerolls to go for that sweet extra action.

Probably most valuable early on before cards give extra actions or have other effects that make stars more valuable.

I hit the 100 skirmishes mark without getting any from them. Does everyone have the same amount? Are they set rewards? I'm admittedly grinding rather than proceeding with story to try to figure out if they drop. I'd like 2 dice on each character with 3 of the lightning symbols each (hahaha...) and then at least a star and a draw card on every other die.

first elite skirmish between 5/6 netted me 2 (both for Nahmi) pretty crappy other sides (1 shardx2, 1 sheildx3, and the 1 lightning), but game has been stingy with dice for her, so both sacriced 1 shard and 1 +draw for it.

Like neozanmato, I got one after one of the first couple of missions, and am currently at four by this point after mission 11(5~6 Elite Skirmishes, and maybe 10~11 normals mixed in to normal missions completions). Combined with an appropriate deck and I've had several times with many actions in a single turn. It is pretty glorious, but admittedly also kind of ridiculous sometimes.

The moral of the story being of course that lightning faces are very powerful, and thus, appropriately rare.

Definitely not complaining about rarity, just was curious where to get :D and after many more hours of play, seems completely random. I got 6 on Nahmi before the end of the game, and none for anyone else. Has anyone gotten one on any other character?

Had lvl 1 and lvl 2 dice with lightning and couldn't find more.
Got a lvl 6 right after finishing the final mission...

Jelly. My entire playthrough I never found a single one. Just the die Nahmi started with. I didn't religiously do the grind-skirmishes though. I think I only hit two or three of them.

Congrats, just beat the game and I never managed to grab another lightning... so very powerful though.
