With a brick, you can steal a van :)
It works as a game mechanic, thats not the problem. Just accepting the fact that halfway through the game, I learned that the guy was not too bright :)
Maybe I'll change my mind once I've seen more.
If speed and fuel is all you worry about, get a motorbike!
- Of course a sport car is not an ideal vehicle.
A motorbike is energy-saving, but so much dangerous, there are also many problem about weather, place to sleep along the road need to deal if choosing this.
A van would be nice for saving people, but if you played this character, you should know that he is definitely not a hero-type, more like an a$$hole in my opinion.
- Anw with the personality of DLC's protagonist, I don't think he prepared and thought carefully for all of this. He said he worked 5 years to afford this car, and seem like its the only thing left at that moment, so I don't think he had another choice beside choosing it.
I really like the idea we can brings more passengers at once, but this is dev's decision, so be it, you just have to play the DLC 12 times to complete it
Even if you are not a friendly type of guy, it has to be van or motorcycle. The bike gives you speed and fuel-efficiency, plus is easier to handle in case highways get blocked.
The big advantage of the van is that you can always carry more fuel and food in the back. Yes, the van is slower, but you save time not having to look for fuel at every stop.
I'm just glad that I dissed the protagonist's vehicle choice. I wanted to say bad stuff about his hair and that would have started a full flame war! :)
So imo, if that day come, I just grab the thing I have already and go, there is not many choices about vehicle I believe. All depend more on survival skills, example: I got a car, then what? A map and a compass are 2 things will let me come up with true directions. Meh many things to worry about.
