My experience with 2dark so far

When I finish I intend to complete this and leave it as a review for the game.

Level 1
>Accidentally punched the first child in the face trying to pick her up
>Died over 5 times falling into pits at the entrance to the level
>Saved during clown's cutscene w kids, didn't realize I was saving 2 seconds before lions were released, countless deaths ensue until I realize I can glitch the lions into becoming stuck on the gate
>Die even more times trying to figure out how to release lions and have them kill clown without killing me or kids only to realize it was all completely unnecessary and I could just lure him in front of a sleeping lion in the next room
>Use lions to kill everyone else in the level, ironically earn "no victims" achievement

Level 2
>Troll rat follows me into elevator, ends up making woman in lobby quit her job and leave building thatwentbetterthanexpected.jpg
>Find dojo w old man and student, later find secret entrance back there but find old man randomly dead, works for me
>Sneak into room to save kid but student hears me, hide in dark corner, he literally walks into me but does not see me
>Gain ability to use staff elevator, open it and fat businessman is in there, he walks out, yells at me and then vanishes into thin air
>Poison Scarlett but Elisa does not come to her and stays in room with child talking to no one
>Literally nothing can get woman out of the room and away from kid, throwing candy, yelling directly outside room, etc. finally forced to walk right into room to aggro her out
>Run and hide in dark corner, guards run into me but can't see me so leave, she walks right up to me and shoots me in crotch, guess she has night vision or is the only competent enemy in this game
>Walk off crotch shot, but now woman is back in room with kid, give up and run in room and literally just steal kid from in front of her, master of stealth
>She doesn't follow me
>confused I go back in and realize she is now permanently stuck in her location and can't attack or leave her spot stuck fixing up nonexistent child, loot room and leave
>See one security guard is now trapped in elevator walking against the walls, other has disappeared
>Later find him trapped in a random room asleep, walking into him with a light source does not wake him up, has been glitched into a coma
>Beat entire 2nd level by breaking entire 2nd level

Damn, yeah, I have not run into these particular ...let's call them "goofs" in the games scripts(what have you). Though I have seen enough to keep saying to myself.."did they check/proof anything before this games release?" Mostly when I notice things that are very messy when returning to Smiths apartment for example..maybe its intended..I dont know..to be honest..I've still very much been enjoying this game, but yeah...as this being a sort of come back for Alone in the Dark games(my first ever horror games) I don't know what to say...it is what it is..and I'm not terribly dissapointed..but I want more...hope that makes even the slightest bit of sense.

Actually you can lure Elisa out of her room by playing her disc on the record player on the left side of the Scarlett's room. Elisa will eventually enter Scarlett's room and start dancing to the music, and now you can sneak past her and get the kid and the proof. Just sneak to the upper floor and go back town and Elisa will be back in her room.

Althought Elisa doesn't seem to notice dans her boss and friend is dead.

i didn't know you could bait her out with music, they do have that scene where both the crazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ are dancing must've been the hint. I was wondering what all the damn music records were for in that level, I do know you can get her to wander off and go get drunk by sending champagne up to the room.

I love that there's so many ways to complete things in the game. (Honeslty I don't think I beat any of the levels how you were supposed to....l o l) I played it to death despite the insane glitches.

I like the game overall but yeah there's script errors and glitches. Couldn't get the boss kill achievement on the second level because the chef would just walk in circles, drop the cake I poisoned instead of putting it in the dumbwaiter, then he'd make the cake again, lol. Couldn't get the lion achievement either for weird glitches. Clown would just run in circles and I eventually would just pop in the nose whenever he'd hit a certain spot without getting hit. Also, I can't go back to the bar....game crashed while I was playing pool and deleted my save, but thankfully I can continue with the Norman House unlocked.

But...it's still a lot of fun!
