could not connect

i still sometimes play this game for fun but when i load the game it says "could not connect" and i've tried everything and havent found a fix! it might be the fact that the devs have stopped support for the game and kinda pretty much closed it so nobody can play it because its outdated. if thats not the case and someone has found a fix, please let me know! thanks!
