In a sense yes. You schedule shows, movies, newscasts, and commercials. You have to pay for your own studio, newsroom, and a kitchen (which should be called the lounge). But all your stuff is on one floor. You can also sabotage your opponents (once you research it). Once schedule a movie\show it's gone from your archive forever (or until you buy it again). You can employ stars to write, direct, or star in your shows that you produce in the studio. If a stars talents need improvement send them to the cube farm to help them write, direct, or star better shows. I know that's long. I hope that will help you.

Well the name suggest that. So my first impression was that it's a sequel.

It is another try to resurrect Mad TV and another failed one. Same as Jagged Alliance and X-Com - those restarts of old classics fail all the time. Mad TV was a great game, one of the best tycoons out there.

I liked the new X-COM Enemy Unknown. Of course we always will miss many aspects of the original, but I think the game well adapted to the current times.

The X-Com reboot was a failure?

In the eyes of old X-COM fans, I'd say yes. Some mods fix it in some ways. Like the mod that prevents enemies from just standing still until you've sighted them. Not sure if there are mods that give you better tiles and actually randomly generate stuff. It's not my cup of tea either, Xenonauts does it miles better.

Im an old xcom fan... Hated Xenonauts. Loved the new xcom. Not as much as the old one of course, but thats like saying anyone can do MOO2 better than the original :P

Just to leave a note. Take a look at this game here. Looks like good support and I think they did a better job there.

http://store.steampowered.com/app/377900

... And it is for sale (for the first time 50%) --> good enough for a quit new game.

Yeah that doesn't count at all. When the old x-com fans are tiny little fraction of the sales of new one its kind of moot point. Success isn't mesured by tiny little groups if they managed only get the old x-com fan base happy it would have been a critical failure, and huge loss to the company who did it.

This one was alrright, not bad but meh worth the 2 bucks and some change I spent on it.

ist auf jedenfall besser als das Spiel hier. Einziger Nachteil kein Multiplayer

Both this one and Empire TV are at same price. This one looks more polished, but the other looks more like MAD TV. MAD TV also was more polished tho.
This one does seem to have a memory leak and is no longer supported I think, so I will be more likely to get Empire TV
