Hrm I'm seeing a cross between that and the running man. Its basically a cube like game show.

'In the year 2019, America is a totalitarian state where the favorite television program is "The Running Man" -- a game show in which prisoners must run to freedom to avoid a brutal death. '

Basically, yeah. And about time too - I've been waiting almost two decades to see this thematic concept translated into a game. And for the price, well, why am I here in the forums instead of on the store page?

Yes, the game is inspired by The Cube and other Sci-fi films/books :)

I saw the Cube movies and was immediately reminded of them when I saw the game trailer. I'm not qualified to comment on the game.... but I will say congrats to the devs on the positive reviews so far :)

Well no, because first person shooters are a genre - a "type" if you will. Cube isn't a genre, it's a specific movie (its genre would be, for example, "science fiction"). But we all accept the game was inspired by Cube and nobody has a problem with that so it's all cool, no need to defend it.

Looks fun, Would be cool if custom traps could be made using the workshop. All I see is custom masks. I loved the Cube movies and always wanted to play a Cube type game. This is as close to it I have seen!
