Ahh..i dont have it, but wanted to know before buying.. does the game have dedicated servers[client-server] for multiplayer (SEA region- South East Asia) or does it use Peer to peer network? Lol im not sure how to rephrase it.
Tell me your country or region we can tell you how many players are there.
The game uses Steam Servers, and will attempt to setup a peer2peer connection in addition to a client host connection. Thus it's a hybrid. But, we employ the ability to make connections behind home NATS using a nat-punching technology via direct connection, if this fails the back stop is using the Steam relay servers.
So, if anyone is playing near you the game will use the relay servers as a back stop, but will first attempt a peer2peer and client:host setup.
ah thanks for the detailed info. I live in India. Searched the forum before asking, didnt find an answer,,hence asked.
Okay, yeah there are quite a few players in India, and you are also close to China. If you play with a friend you should have no trouble at all. Thanks for asking !!
It uses Steam Servers and not sure what that means for India, and we use a peer2peer and client host hybrid, whereas we will attempt to use Steam's API for the peer2peer nat punching and also make a direct connection as one player will be chosen as a host, and send data to all clients.
Thanks for the prompt reply.
