How to unlock framerate?

Hi there,

for me, this game is locked at 60 frames per second (though my monitor is running at 144 Hz, and other games can reach those 144 fps vsynced). I think my machine can do much better, I want to see the game at full glory high fps, is there a way to unlock / uncap the frame rate?

All the physics and animation is at 60 fps, this will only speed up the game and break all the coop modes.

We have tried this before but there is no improvement.

Thanks for the offer, but no need for that. Yes, everything sped up is gamebreaking, so better leave it as it is then.

You cannot. Its locked at 60 fps for many reasons.

Animation frames doesn't exist for more than 60 fps

Network gameplay requires 60 fps

The game would simply sped up, unplayable. All calculations are based on 60 fps.

The issue is fixedtimestep, turning this off and reconciling it. I could release a version with a new update name, under the update notes section of Blood and Bacon.

Like "no-timestepping"
