Simutrans - Freeplay Problem Launch

As the title saids i am having problems launching that.

Steam shows that it opened and then it just syncs and quits.

No error message, no black screen, nothing.

I am running on a Linux Distro that is Built on Ubuntu 14.04.

I tried to reinstall the game,

I was just trying to find out what the freeplay part was when the launcher for steam asked me what i wanted to do. example: play simutrans.

Play windowed. Etc
Then there was Simutrans - Freeplay

I don't know if this is suppose to be in the launcher or not but it does not open.

If still dont work go please on International simutransforum. there you find simutrans for All systems.

Same issue under win 10 since a few weeks (May?). Programm starts, syncs and ends without further information or any error message.

Played already 37 h. Reinstall without solution. Helpful hints or links welcome!

The preloader has been updated to have the Freeplay option, and Freeplay has been removed from the Steam options. There should now just be Simutrans, Simutrans Server, and Simutrans Safemode.

Simutrans displays options to launch fullscreen, freeplay, etc

Safemode launches the game without any Steam integration and with no command line arguments (same as the game from the Simutrans Website[simutrans.com]

In regars to application starting, syncs, then ends, try Safe mode, and if that works, you can try 'simpreloader' outside of Steam to see if it gives any error message.
