Hard to explain in english. When a passenger travels via several different transportmethods, the profit gets split-up between those. So the problem ist that overall youre making +, but only 4 out of the 6 lines wich were used by the passenger get a positive profit. The other 2 make a huge negativ. Thats a problem how OTTD handels such things. And later in the game if you got hundrets of vehicles it just screws everything up becaus you're unable to tell what the ♥♥♥♥ is going on.

Edit: Found it: https://wiki.openttd.org/Negative_income_with_feeder_service this ruins the whole game.
OK, yes thats a different thing explained now. Now i know what you mean, yes i agree. Dont get me wrong, it wasnt a discussion about "this is better and this is worse" for me. I was confused because you explained a totally different game i experienced. But with that i understood it now.
Besides that, no problem if you struggle wit henglish, its not my main language aswell.

I love OTTD and I always played it, I just accepted the fact that this problem was there. But now I give Simutrans a chance. And I'm pretty amazed. It only took me ~5h until I got my first lines up and running with profit. Thank god there are some tutorials out there.

fair enough, i also installed it today and will play it this week. I have nothing against it and for me its no better or worse. Just different. And the better the game is the better for me because that means its fun.

I love complicated games. Wich they're both. But Simutrans offers you all the data to make it through while TT sadly gets verry confusing over time. I like the challenge if I get the right tools to master it.

what i stress more to have i nsuch games, is end game. I hate when you have a management game that at some point just spams you with cash you cant use, or you cant get any further. Thats why i for example like development and city founding features in OTTD.

A-Train 9 has a VERRY complex city founding feature! But that game was too much for me.

I just like when there are context features you can take care of, even poitical maybe, for example that there are lawchanges you have to adapt on (like smog and emission, or minimum wages for driving personal, or a ban of airtraffic over certain areas.) This adds depth and lategametasks.

If you hate your life and just want to torture yourself, play A-Train 9. It is amazing how complicated and complex a game can be! I mean its made by the japanese ... a economy/transport/buisness-simulation made by the japanese ... you can do ANYTHING. Its like Transporttycoon on Crack/LSD/Meth. Stockmarket, Buying buildings, setting up your railswitches for different daytimes, pushing some districts where you bought some land earlier just to profit from high landvalues in lategame etc. I bought it cheap, watched a video, gave it a try, got horrible confused and accepted the fact that I'm not asian enough to learn this game.
