Upcoming Patch Information
Hey all, just wanted to post a quick update on behind-the-scenes happening with a couple upcoming patches.

In the next few days we'll release a small patch to clean up a pesky crash-on-load bug some players have been seeing, as well as significantly improve our ability to collect and analyze client crashes in general. Oh top of that, there will be a few balance changes, but nothing too major.

After that, we're planning on a content patch to include some new features. Among them are a player progression system and training/challenge grounds. The progression system will be pretty straightforward - rewarding play time while also providing an incentive for staying in games and sticking to a team. This will also provide the opportunity to gate certain servers to a skill level, which we believe will be benficial to both new and veteran players. The training map will be a single player area to practice movement and combat against dummy targets or angry waves of mobs. It's nothing too extravagant, but we think it's a helpful addition to players of all skill levels.

More details will be released as we iron them out. All of the aforementioned features are already in the works, but there's plenty to do on them! We have a lot of ideas for new features and ways to improve the current state of play, and we'll keep doing what we can do while we still have ants signing on to blast each other apart!

By the way, when the game will expand, will you add a plot or "bios" for the characters?

Sorry for the late reply on this, didn't see this thread updated! We have talked about updating the character selection UI a bit, but that won't be coming in the next patch. Right now there's just not a great place to quickly place it in. Surprisingly enough, there actually are some relatively basic personality concepts for classes. It'd be fun to expand on them a bit and put them in the game, but again this woudln't be any time soon.

Unfortunately not. Creating levels is a complex process in several ways - they must be essentially drawn in an image editing tool such as Photosho or GIMP, exported in chunks for each layer with very specific requirements, and, most difficult all, in-depth knowledge of our editing tool scripting language is absolutely required to make the level even playable. Right now it's just not feasible.

Its a shame you let it die off. Was such a nice game. Just took a walk through an empty servers after remembering that I played this a lot last year around this time. :(
