Actually no he doesn't - he's pretty upset with his father for locking him up in the catacombs 40 years ago, and there is indeed no way to avoid the confrontation at the end - BUT - when we eventually release episode 7 you may be surprised to see what comes a moment later. But we've got episodes 1-6 to get through first.

Thought the same thing.. wasn't sure if I should have done something other than stand my ground when the Pan's Labyrinth Pale Man rushed me at the end. Some indicator that the demo ended there would have been welcome.
