being an audience member rather than participant

Hi all,

This is a carry-over question that applies (if possible) to JKBX1 and 2: is it possible to intentionally set yourself as an audience member rather than a participant, even if there is enough space for you to play? That is to say, even if there are only four people and the game supports 6-8, is it possible to make the 4th person an audience member regardless. There are times when some people would rather just vote on prompts or shirts, rather than make them themselves.

If they wait to join until the game has started and moved on from the lobby they will join right into the audience!
