Can I actually play this game in Steam?

I don't understand how to play this in Steam with my friends. We both own the game, but when I press "Play" for one of the games (say Guesspionage), I get a room code and can see the game playing in Steam, whereas my friend can only see it in a web browser.

Here's what we are doing:

1) I launch the game in Steam
2) My friend launches the game in Steam
3) One of us presses Guesspionage and Play to get a room code
4) We both got o JAckbox.tv and enter the room code
5) One of us presses the "Everyone has entered" button
6) So ... whoever pressed Play in Steam then gets a weird situation of having to enter answers in the browser, while the steam game plays music and narrates what is happening, but the other person just gets the browser view.

So basically neither of us gets to play the game actually using Steam, even though we both bought it on Steam. Is there another way of starting games that would allow us to do so? Otherwise I really don't see why this game has a steam client at all, since it all ends up being played in a web browser.

Only one of you needs to own it on Steam. Steam is only used to host the games, once the game is running then everyone (including you) connects to the game via jackbox.tv in your web browser
