Can Wii U be used with jackbox.tv?

There's always someone in my party that can't use their phone to play for whatever reason. I wish I could just gave them the Wii U controller to use instead, but it shows the standard "browser out of date" error, despite it being up to date. Does the Wii U browser work with jackbox.tv at all?

I think you could, because Wii U use a compatible version of Opera browser
