I really hope this does amount to something concrete, even if it is a Wine bottle (it works great in Wine). I already own this because bringing ridiculous amounts of fun to any party I take my laptop to is worth violating my Linux gaming principles, but I would definitely buy a couple gift copies to give away if this comes to fruition.
I remember asking about Linux support in the forums of another Jackbox game, and the main reason we don't have it already is because all the Jackbox games run on Adobe AIR, which has long been unsupported on Linux. There are a few possibilities for how they're doing this. I'm personally hoping they migrated to a Haxe-based framework, but it's more likely they are bundling the last-supported AIR version or using a Wine bottle. No matter how they plan to do it, official support is great.
