Crashes on Start now... didn't used to.

So i've played almost 300 hours of this game and within the past week or so it simply crashes on startup. Tried verifying integrity & re-downloading. Can't figure out whats wrong. Anyone else having this problem?

Having the same problem here too, I went through the same steps, even uninstall and reinstall didn't help much, not sure what is stopping it, but it won't start up at all. All the other party packs works just fine, but Party Pack 3 is the only one that won't work. Still looking for a solution myself

Weird update, I managed to get the game to work after going to the game's local files and running The Jackbox Party Pack 3.exe as Administrator. I was still able to get the game to run after starting up the .exe file even after not running it as Admin. Despite all of that, I can't launch the game straight from the Steam Library though...

I suppose you could try running the game from the .exe in your Local Files as well to see if you can get the same result! Maybe just try running as Administrator yourself to see if that does the trick! I guess it's good if it works at all!

I got mine running by using windows compatibility mode for windows 8. Uninstall, verified, and running as system admin all didnt do it for me before the windows 8 thing.

Reinstalled & tried running in admin mode - didnt work - Jackbox please fix this

Win8 Comp: No fix. Run as Admin: No fix. Local file launch: No fix. Reinstalled and verified: No fix. Having literally no luck getting around the crash start up. Getting rather irritated

I found another unique solution. Go to the local files folder. Right click the Jackbox.exe file and hit properties. Under compatibility check Run as Admin and then hit the Change High DPI settings button. Check both the Program DPI and High DPI settings boxes. Apply settings then Launch from in the file folder (Doesn't work through Steam for some reason)

I had the same problem, I ended up enabling the compatibility to 'windows 8' on the 'The Jackbox Party Pack 3.exe' file now the game works through steam.
