Because it might have offended someone so they might have not put it in. I means there's tonnes of word out there, they may have missed one... a religion... of course

I just had the same issue with "Atlantic". A little googling and "Jewish" and "Atlantic" are not official scrabble words according to the hasbro scrabble website. I suspect that's where they get their word list bc the next best word in our case is allowed according to hasbro's scrabble site.

I don't think the word being offensive is a possibility unless you have the content filter on.
