I completely agree! The best game on Steam. Simple and understandable. Although the screws work incorrectly. Physics is normal, for the arcade. There is not enough variety of billiard games and a rally. Chat between players. Well and of course marketing, online man 80 would be enough, that would be a mega game! Good luck!

I want it to continue. The new Premium Pool Arena version is, to be frank, bloody crap. I love this game and have spent almost 200 hours playing it. It doesn't need flashy graphics because it's all about the game play. PLEASE keep this game running.

Please give Arena a try! The thing I like about it is that each cue plays different. You can find a cue that works best for you and up your chances of winning. If you like to shoot slow there's something for you! Shoot fast? There's a cue for you. Finding an opponent can be a problem but I think that will change as Iceflake adds more servers. Thanks to Pops, The Master, Lady Parts and GFDawg for some great matches. Hope more of our friends will move over to Arena!!

Gutted the game has gone. I will give Arena a decent try, but I haven't liked the few games I've played so far.

I do not understand why they have decided to close this game, it is much more played than its paid version Premium Pool Arena. There are many defects in this game but despite this it is very fun and enjoyable, I hope you change your mind and stay it,
Premium Pool Arena instead for my opinion sucks the graphics is horrible and it's frustrating to play without mentioning that they put the micro transactions in a game you've already paid for. Please do not close this game

I don't understand it either. Adding goofy looking contrails and making people for that is silly. I e-mailed iceflake and got a code for a "free" version of the game, but it still doesn't work.

I preferred the Premium Pool was a cute game and did pretty well though it had many defects it was definitely better than Premium Pool Arena which looks like more Candy Crush than a billiards game.
I'm very sorry to have decided to close Premium Pool I would have preferred to have improved it instead of doing Premium Pool Arena which is a paid version with horrific graphics and micro transactions everywhere

There were multiple reasons why we decided to close down this old pool game.

First of all maintaining two games at the same time is very time consuming and expensive. The old pool game basically did not make any revenue and still it was very expensive to have servers up and running 24/7. Also changing the game to work any other way would have required a tedious rework of the entire networking.

Secondly, we wanted to make the new pool game more diverse and add new features. Adding these to the old game was not possible. Moreover, the new game is easier to scale to meet the current playerbase on the server side.

Thirdly the playerbase would have been divided between two games. The small playerbase never benefits if it is divided between several games.

Finally, we wanted to have game made for PC from the start. The original pool was designed to work also on mobile platforms, which also restricted the game on PC. This time we wanted to make a PC game from the start. This way we can also maintain the game in the long run.


We are also very sad that we had to close down the old game. We invested nearly two years and quite a lot of money to make that game in the first place. This tought as many things and it will definitely help us in the future with Premium Pool Arena.

Since we're doing "first of alls" and being rude to players, gloves off...first of all, it's not my problem that you screwed up the game, second of all, it's not my fault if you invested in something that was not monetarily beneficial to you. That's called your problem, not mine. Thirdly, if you didn't want a divided playerbase, then why would you over-invest yourself on a new version and then blame the players? Fourthly, I'm assuming you meant to put "us" instead of "as" in the last sentence. Fifthly, this "old pool game" was fun for a lot of people. Again, not my decision to invest/pursue, however you want to put it, but it just seems like the players are suffering the consequences.

I really liked the Premium Pool game though it had some defects was a nice game, I wonder if the free to play has not been so successful because the paid version that under certain points is even worse should it be more successful? I played Premium Pool Arena and the gameplay and graphic style I found lower but above all often you have to wait a long way to find Someone with whom to play,
Maybe if you had done more advertising Premium Pool would have had more people who would play it I'm sorry a lot that you have decided to close it.

I bet there would be alot more then they know that would of paid for THIS GAME, If giving the Option. Compared to "Area" Premium COULD GO REALLY FAR IF YOU WOULD OF SEEN People LOVED this GaMe!!!!! By Closing the Game You LOST ALOT of FUN PLAYERS!
